HAve just splashed out on PSE3 as it seems to have the best categorizing system I have seen - combining the best of the free/share programes I have seen such as Picasa and Picajet. I also like PSE3s system of allowing you to organize pics but leave the base image in its original folder. Have now just completed the initial cataloguing of a year's worth of Dig images (several late nights!) and was wondering what category system people use for their picture?
I wanted something that I could filter quickly by content and style so am using the folowing tagging system currently:
1. Place (by country, state, town etc)
2. Event (birthday, xmas, day trip etc)
3. Holiday (if applic) by year and location
4. Content (buildings, cars, etc)
5. Style (landscape, abstract etc)
What do you do?
