New to the forum here.

Here's a shot I took outside last night with my 24L, which just came in the mail. In retrospect, I should have turned the camera to portrait mode- I cropped his ears off. C&C welcome

The lighting is much too harsh, and the head is overexposed in the highlights.
It looks a little too soft everywhere except its muzzle, so I would say the DOF is inadequate.
