After some excellent advise from here I went out and started to shoot with this lense ( Canon 70-200 L IS ) this morning, I still think it has problems but hey thats life.

Well, even if you did, the shots are great...... very crisp and clean. Great work.

If you feel there is a problem, and you dont mind waiting, send the lens in to canon.
I would expect perfection for a lens of that price.
Then again, you might just find out the lens is fine, and the problem is user error.
Btw, you could probably compress those images more or something. They take forever to load for me on a 3.5 Mbit connection.
