Could someone with slightly better knowledge on creepy crawlies identify these subjects please -

It was slightly similar to a wasp but it had no sting, and it's abdomen was bright yellow with no markings.

And this spider was incredible, it had caught a bumble bee and was dragging it down the stem of this plant, it was bright white. I did look it up in a few wildlife books and came across the Misumena Vatia crab spider, the description was correct but it specifically said the species cannot be found in Northern Europe... I am from the UK!

Great shots! What equipment were you using?

Misumena vatia is according to my British Wildlife guide, widespread and often common. Usually white. Seen from May to August. Catches insects that land on flower to feed. Sounds like you've ID'd it correctly to me! :-)
