file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/cygnusx1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot.pngI saw an image of this planetary here in this forum a few nights back and was so taken with its beauty I decided to have a stab at it with my C9.25.

Usual setup for smaller targets with he C9.25 doing the honours.
EQ6 Syntrek W/EQMOD, C9.25 w/modded 450D and UHC filter, guided with WO 110 ED APO w/Meade DSI using PHD.

22x5mins integration.

That looks pretty small...well caught. That's not the Eye of God Nebula is it?

EDIT: Ah, no, the Bow-Tie Nebula. Lovely colour.

Is that the original color ? Just wondering since your 450D is mod. Nice catch !

Nice work. I love the wide field. These autoguider help a lot.

White balance perhaps!?

I've often wondered, if I could (biiiiiig could) travel to a nebula such as this and see it in person. Would I if it meant it was my last journey? Would anyone else be willing to miss the debut of the 9DMkII?
