Epson P-2000 in stock at CompUSA

For delivery only (you have to order on-line and can't pick it up at store since they don't have it) and if you have a store in your town you'll have to pay tax. But if you are like me and can't wait to get it, this is the only option I have found. Epson showed it in stock this morning but when I went to checkout it had already sold out.

Oh that is not good. I got mine ordered from Epson on Saturday. And since I didn't have to pay tax I popped for overnight shipping. I shall have mine tomorrow! And I saved about $25 in the process even with the shipping.

I hate to wait.

The few that I have seen on eBay (only one active that I could find) have gone for upwards of $650.

My rage-o-meter just went off the scale. I ordered the unit Saturday. This morning I called and I was assured it would be here tomorrow. Then when my order finally updates online it says they are out of stock. So I call and sure enough I won't be getting my unit.

This is me refraining from typing what I am really thinking.

Don't worry, I canceled my order with CompUSA because they wanted me to call American Express and add my business address to the card or they would not ship it here. They had my billing address and the pin from the card so I felt it was too much crap to go through for an item that I was over paying on. I'll wait for B&H to have it.

Well I went ahead and bit the bullet. I paid the $40 in tax and ordered it from CompUSA. But I only did it because I may be doing a shoot with a new model this weekend and decided to make the leap.

The only thing I hate more than tax is having to wait. This time I had to deal with both.
