What and where are you shooting? There is no ideal, just the right tool for the job.

Would a Westcott 28x28 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=workaround.jsp&A=details&Q=&sku=62245&is=REG) (recessed) work on B400 and B800's? It's the one Zack Arias uses in his OneLight DVD.

I have that box and I tried using it with the bee mounted inside and wasnt happy with the results. The flash seemed to block too much of the light which is aimed backwards and reflected off of the back of the softbox. Westcott makes an adapter so you can mount a monolight in the bottom of the box, but I dont have one yet.

Thank you, I was hoping it would work so I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Wanted to be able to use 1 SB for the Alien Bee and Speedlites.

Check out this guy on eBay. (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/OEC-Camera-Accessories_Alien-Bees-Balcar-accs_W0QQ_fsubZ594820014QQ_sidZ8132514QQ_trksidZp4 634Q2ec0Q2em322) His prices are good and a few people here have purchased from him and have been happy with the products. I purchased a 36"x48" softbox from him yesterday for my B800.

There's some info in a post I created HERE (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=766709)yesterday.

It might well work for both with the adapter. It is phenomenal with the speedlites.
