My youngest decided on being a fireman for Halloween. He came up to my wife the other day and asked if he could "practice." I heard that and raced to the camera....and, the last one is my favorite. The others will be nice snaps for photo albums, but have composition issues with being too centered, imo. It's also been so dreary here lately, I had to bump the iso...pardon the noise...i haven't sharpened or applied NR yet.

1..Where's that fire...I'm on it!

Fun! I really like number three. Did he use the axe after the water ran out?

Cute! I think these would look great in black & white to obscure the busy background. Given the nature of these photographs here you might like this blog... http://www.thefamilyphotojournalist.blogspot.com/ It's one that I personally find to be inspiring with regards to documenting my own family.

These are simply precious... :) Nothing better than when your own child asks you to photograph him. :) so much fun! :)

Wow. Thanks for all the comments. I had forgotten I had posted these. Nice to finally get some responses.

As for the axe, yes, he chopped my impatiens when I wasn't looking. When I asked why, he said it was because he was fighting a "tree fire." He also raked some of those leaves because "they burn, too, Daddy." Some kind of imagination.
