Taken at a man made lake called Yeadon Tarn, during the war this tarn was emptied so German bombers coudnt use is as a marker when they tried to find leeds and Bradford airport at night, the airport was then used to make plane parts, comments welcome

whoa....is my first impression. Then I looked down see the ducks with the reflection in the water.

Beautiful shot with excellent composition, I love the way you've captured the tunnel effect with the sky and the reeds leading the eye to the sun in the background.

Basicaly just dodge and burn, bring out detail in the shadow areas , dodge and burn sky, and sharpened, plus local contrast sharpening,

Dodge & Burn is something I need to work more on. It can really make the difference between a good photo and a great photo.

man i always hated dodging and burning in the darkroom but it made an ok photo great.
