Really cool pics. I'm too new to comment on the technical aspects but I like them alot. Especially your use of reflection and composure.

The Oxburgh Hall shot is really nice except for the peak of the roof being cropped off. It would have helped to step back a bit to get it in. Even if you had to crop it at the bottom due to a shoreline, the top one should be shown.

I think Ely Cathedral could be improved by a use of the "Rule of Thirds" (Google it if you don't know about it).

The USS Wisconsin picture is wonderful. It's really overwhelming, which is what a warship should be.

Nice pics EOS! Sorry i don't have any technical feedback either, but you must be doing something right when you get such great results as these!

Thanks. Withthe IXUS it was a balance between cropping and tilting - i chose to crop - rightly or wrongly!! If I had stepped back there would have been grass at the bottom - don't forget I am stil lnew to dig so post process cropping hadn't entered my head!

I do know rule of thirds and normally use it - but thought this looked ok as is - maybe ill try some cropping to see if it helps!! Ta for feeedback.

Very nice pics.
The first 2 could improve if you set the "horizon" line above or below the middle of the frame
The last 2 are awsome..specially the ship.
Show us more !!

Having been around a few battleships, I know how large and imposing they are. Your shot truly captures the enormity. How did you get to be in front of the bow?

The Wisconsin is part of the Naval museum at Norfolk VA and you can go onboard - might post some shots of the 16 inch guns later.... That shot was actually taken from the museum entrance archway - as you can imagine its quite an impressive first sight!
