this is one I shot of my son last summer. I am having a mild case of swim mom withdrawals as he has finished his last high school season and decided not toswim in college.

Thanks guys. He had always been a distance freestyler- not the best stroke for good photos. This year he swam some other strokes which really helped me out in on the photos. My younger daughter says he looks like he is melting the way the water is over his shoulders.

As an ex-swimmer, I can actually "feel" what the swimmer in the photo is doing. Excellent, evocative, well planned and well executed shot!

Thanks for all the very nice comments. I entered it in a contest today under human interest. Last year there were hundreds of entries, but I really like this shot. Hopefully the judge was a swimmer, too..
