Hi,
few days ago I found web page of wedding photographer but forgot to bookmark it :-(
I believe he is very well known.
Not 100% sure but I think he:
- is english
- is using Canon 5DM2 with primes
- is NEVER USING FLASH
I also saw a video of him explaining his equipment.
Any idea who it is ? I can't find him anymore :-(((
Thanx a lot.
P.S. Also if you know other good "no flash" wedding photographer, please share www.

Could be him. Thanx.
However, I am sure there was a video in which he was showing his wedding equipment (body+lenses). Can't find it anymore.

Probably on his old blog. I know for a fact he shoots 5D IIs, all primes, and no flash (or so he claims).

Jeff's a master something over on Canon website. Search the Canon European site, he talked about his gear and how he approaches shooting a wedding. If I can dig up the link, I'll post it.

Jeff Ascough is great. I really admire his approach to weddings, and his commitment to using natural light, and his keeping it simple approach. It's refreshing.

A agree with that. His work is yet simple and amazing. No crazy angles, no off camera light, no big lenses - everything that is suppose to be "in" these days. His photographs are always and will be always nice to see (for our perspective and B & G perspective). Sorry for my English. It's not that good.

Thanks Bobby (i guess that is your name)! As a matter a fact i've already put your blog on my favorite list. So as Ed Pingol, Sam Hassas, Tony Hoffer and RyanP Flinn. Those are regular blogs which i like to see. Unfortunately, i'm not even close to your nice job. Need to work and practice much more.

Isn't it hilarious that people bitch and moan and compare noise on 200% crops? Meanwhile while Jeff Ascough looks like half his shots are at ISO 6400 with no NR and Bobby runs tons of his images through TRA for that distressed look. That's the last time I'll worry about ISO 1600 on my XSi.

lol. most of the bitching and moaning can be traced down to too much pixel peeping anyways!

Can I get even more jealous of him now that I see he is an awesome street photographer as well?
Check it out: (he calls them landscape but they are street through and through)
