any advice for a first timer?
I have the 7D, sigma 50, 70-200, 430ex, 430 exII and a nikon speedlight as my strobist setup...but I dont how to get that "glamour" shot...any advices you can give me?
non-nudes...

google glamour and boudior images.
then try and take photos in the same style of image, not duplicate it, but get creative with your model and your shooting methods.

See some good portfolio in some forum (even MM).
Glamour, at least for me, means sensuality.

Women are full of sensuality, just put them at ease.

For simplicity, use some pro models or more mature models.

Obviously good dress or eventually some good lingerie.

Check out a glamour photography book and a studio lighting book. Look at modeling sites to see what style of lighting is popular. Use professional paid models at first. Make a connection with the model, that will relax the model and make for better images. Keep shooting!

On a more basic level DON'T, DON'T DON'T touch the model for any reason without asking before you get near her. Nothing will freeze her up more than thinking she's got a perv.

look on Amazon for Glamour books....there are a TON of good photogs out there with their own books.
