Hey guys, I'm going to start by apologizing, I know this is a double post from what I put in the transportation section but I didn't really get much feedback on the shots there. I'd like to see if I can get some comments on these shots to help me improve them. I like them but I've no doubt there are things that could be done to improve them. Below are four shots I took this weekend of my new bike (Harley Super Glide), the only post processing done was some cropping and curves adjustment in Photoshop (along with USM of course). Thanks in advance for your advice/comments/ideas.

If you'd like to see the entire set of "keepers" I've posted them on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/intechpcx/sets/316079/

These are really great! You used a polarizing filter right? It's kind of showing up in that last one in the visor.. other than that I really like them. In any other photos I'd say the saturation was a bit strong, but I really think it helps make these "pop"! I'd be proud to have taken them! Just curious, Were you using reflectors at all?

I really like the third one. It looks like the bike is ready to take off with or without you. The other three are fine photos as well, but the third one has the WOW factor. Nice shots.

Brandon, yes I was using a polarizer so there are a couple that have that iridescent effect on the windshield. Unfortunately no I don't have any reflectors, I was hoping the white stone would help with that a bit and it did, but it would have been better if I could have gotten some more fill light in the darker spots (especially on that tank).

#1 The bike doesn't look sharp, & a tree is growing out of the back.
#2 Why the tree in the pic?
#3 & 4 Much better.
Using the white stone to reflect was a good idea. ;-)

Thanks for the responses, I've got some ideas now of what I've got to look for in the future. And PhotosGuy, the answer to your question about number 2, simply put I wasn't paying attention to it. I should have re-angled the bike for that shot. Thanks again guys, of course I'm still open to hearing anyone else's thoughts.

3 & 4 get my votes. No 3 is especially dramatic. The colour is also bright with nice contrast compared to 1 & 2.

I couldn't have done better, hough. Nice pics!
