These are quite beautiful. Somehow I've never been to these falls, have to correct that.

Funny story behind the pictures. My wife and I hiked up and found "the falls". I found a precarious perch on the rocks and set up my tripod, camera, filters, remote release, etc. Took several minutes to get everything lined up. Took several pictures. During the picture taking, a few other people came down over the hill next to the falls and mentioned that the falls were on up the hill.

So, I secured the camera and remote, replaced the lens cap, folded the tripod and we clambered up the rocks. Sure enough, there were more falls (pic #1). Set everything up again and started snapping pics. While I was photographing, my wife was exploring and found a set of steps behind us, going on up to the top of the falls. She climbed up and yelled back down to me that she found even more falls (pic #2). So, it was packup and hiking time again.

Not bad - getting three sets of falls for the price of one.

Thanks for all the comments. Yeah, the kit lens ain't half bad, if I do say so myself. Especially considering it was shooting through two extra pieces of glass.

I like pic #1

I would crop to remove the right 1/3 of the pic.
And remove the branch at the bottom of pic.

Nice pictures! How did you meter? I am going to pick up some ND filters and hopefully get out to a waterfall soon!
