I love the 'sparkles' on the water and the silhouette of the pelican...... But the sparkles are a little bright.....maybe you can tone them down a notch in PS. Nice photo, though.

Thanks Maureen, Yeah, so do I..They look like they are dancing!

We went down south to Augusta for the weekend and where we were staying, the birdlife was amazing!..I have hundreds of shots!

Sandi, you should make a trip down there, it's photography paradise..There is an Eagle heritage place, all sorts of birds and wildlife, the scenery is stunning and you get sunrises one direction and sunsets the other. Oh and I can't forget to mention the caves!..We camped in a caravan park right on the Blackwood river..It was glorious!

Ha! Thats exactly where we use to stay as kids! We use to camp in the caravan park as well! Lol

There are several caravan parks now, not sure what it use to be like. We stayed at Turner Caravan park. Apart from being cold at night it was glorious :)

When I was taking pics of the Pelicans, I noticed this guy was holding his leg up out of the water. I was disgusted when I saw why. Why do people leave fishing line laying around?..This is so cruel :(
I have no idea, as I can't make out from the photo, if the fishing line is still around this poor pelican's foot!

Fabulous shots...... Pelicans are my favorite bird.. I love watching them and photographing them..
