I've come across a new photo hosting/selling service http://photomerchant.net/ that looks like it offers some of the features SmugMug and Zenfolio don't offer.
I'm taking the 14 day trial to see how it goes.
I know there are things like lack of support for print labs and not being able to use your own domain name but it looks like they are being addressed.

Those are some pretty important issues for a serious business, and customer support would have to be fantastic as well to compete against Smug and Zen. Keep us posted...let us know how you like it ;)

Will do - at present I am a Smugmug user but they have been unwilling to act to address issues such as displaying different currencies, electronic payment, coupons etc it looks like photomerchant will address these issues. These are deal breakers for me.
That said I find the service and support at SM first class and love the ease of use of the site. I really don't want to upload my entire image library somewhere else!

How has that gone Richard? I'm in the same situation as you. Relatively happy as a Smugger, but this new Photomerchant option looks intriguing.

Same boat as you guys, very tempted to give it a shot but unsure on whether its worth it, would love to hear someone else's experiences.

Any details will be great, thanks

Hey ZacW
Thank you for the reply, I actually got it somewhat sorted but still have an issue with printing due to 99% of my clients in Australia. Hoping you're able to get "Self-fulfilment" up an running soon for us internationals.
Thanks again
