#1. I like the moment, but you chopped off her other leg :( I guess it works for this picture though.

#2. Great shot! Good ole Guitar riff pose.

#3. Can't decide if I like the "floating head" look or not. I think the fact that the guitarist in the background is where he is, and blurred makes it work.

4, 5, and 6 all seem plain to me.

7 and 8: Love em.

I very much like the expression in #5 (but not the BG)
Last two images take the cake however, in just about every conceivable way. Looks almost like you had more shooting that (that's what I would know it to be if I were reviewing my own images, and see something like this).
Juliette and the Licks is a band I'd like to shoot once.

Nice set Tim. I lost most of my photos from this show unfortunately and couldn't recover them after many many attempts. The Juliette ones are my favorite. She was a blast to shoot and the energy pretty much jumps out and punches you in the face in your shots. Great variety on The Pretenders shots given the side restrictions!

thanks! on the 1st one, I was caught off-guard a bit in the moment, and should have zoomed out (i was @ 200; 70 would have captured more of her).

rené, shot #5 was about the only time i had light on her face, as she was turned back towards the band. i am not lying when i said there was zero front lighting. one shooter didn't bother taking *any* photos during the two songs we were allowed.
