Thanks everyone. I took 7 exposures at f22 and merged with Photomatix and to touched up in Lightroom .

Jeeps been my #1 hobby, and a noob on photography, all I can say is, I love this pic!!! Something for me to try on my next off roading trip...

I'm a big fan of off roading and the desert and that shot is superb for both composition and HDR. You should be really proud of that.

No filters. I shot at f/22 to get the star effect on the sun.

I keep looking at this shot. It's pretty damn sweet. It almost makes me want to start playing with HDR.

The photo size is almost 1mb...Can't you reduce it for those with slowish ISP's?

Simply amazing! How did you take 7 exposures. Exposure bracketing only takes 3 shots as far as i know. Did you adjust the shutter manually between exposures?

I have the good fortune to be able to use a 1d series camera and it allows 3, 5 & 7 shots. One of the things I wish Canon would do is in their firmware updates is to allow for more exposures in all their cameras. I would actually like to see 9. Thanks for looking and asking your question.
