Not much for me to Critique - they look great.
OK, maybe I'd have stopped down when shooting the red gizmo for greater depth of field, but then again, I like it this way too.

Very nice :D
apart from the first one, where the background is fighting for attention with the subject too much for my taste, these images really rock.
Best regards,
Andy

I feel the same way about the first shot and the red valve, but despite my dislike of artfully tilted photographs, I really like the second one.

The second one almost looks as if the 350 is a roller coaster going up tracks.. cool
forgive my ignorance but how was the last shot done?

I agree with others that the background in the first one is way too distracting...
I like the others, but the last one is an absolute peach! How was that done? Did you fix a bracket to the rear of the car? What's the focal length? It's perfect!

RE: last shot
Did you just take a still picture and apply motion blur to the wheels using a mask, then did the same for the road and background?
If so, GREAT job!! If not... how'd you do it???

No, that car is in motion. You don't need it to go fast to achieve motion blur for shots like that. It can roll at 1-5mph. You just need to figure out how to move with it.

Im no expert, but I do love cars and spend alot of time looking at pics of them. I agree with most people on the first picture, the backgroud is calling for to much attention
the third picture just seems very awkward to me, it seems like the car is blending in to much with the background
My favorite out of your pictures has got to be the second and last one.

And how did you move with it? :)
Great shots! They fit perfectly for a tuner magazine.

I guess you're right. You probably can't do that with a layer mask or anything. http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

I'd think it would be hard to get an image THAT crisp with a moving object that's turning while capturing that much blur. If so, I'd like to know how it was done.
I saw another image like that somewhere that was even more blurry and the car was crystal clear. I figured it had to be Photoshop'd so I assumed the same here.

There was a thread on these forums a few days ago (Can't find it now :() which explained how this kind of shot was done.
The camera is fixed to the car using a special bracket with suction mounts, then the car is pushed around very slowly while the photographer follows with a cable release and very slow shutter speeds. You can't have the engine running because there would be far too much vibration.
It's a great effect, and the shot above is a very good example.

The owner of the car had to leave by 7pm, so i was forced to shoot during the bright sunlight... I think I managed well.
And PhotosGuy, nice try with the mock studio lighting, but you'd be pretty hard pressed to make it look like the real deal. Looks like a car cut out and put in front of a gradient <shrugs>

Eh....The stickers make the car go faster, silly.
