My mate messaged me, telling me they were there. It was 6pm, and I was nearly tempted to go out, and shoot them. But decided it was too cold. Stayed home, and added a few helicopter pics to my website and emailed them to Westpac head of communications, and IT stuff for our intranet. My pics will be published in our internal newsletter. Only 6000 staff, but still cool. And also emailed directly to the guys at the trust. Still trying to convince them to give me a ride. ;) - Actually, I haven't asked, but my manager emailed them about it.
(Yeah I was lucky to be invited to a free breakfast, - I wonder where that money came from. - Donations?)

Ha! Bugger. Next best place to see them in CHCH as they stopover for fuel before the jump to the ice.
Your doing some good work there Wazza... i will have to join you for an airport shoot really soon, before they go back to the main runway and i fly away to Canada forever... that is if Joseph's 'friends' allow us...
Let me know....

v6Goose, Auckland Intl has been using the main runway again since early May, sorry!
As for the C-17's, they transitted Auckland Intl yesterday morning to upload fuel, then off to Richmond (Sydney) I believe.
Wazza, I'll try to give you more notice next time, btw, where's my camera?

Your black 300D is in the mail!
Should be arriving in Palmerston North by early morning.
Don't worry, I won't tell everyone your exact address at 81xxxx in Awapuni. :p
They resumed flying to the normal 23L and 05R on 15th May. So the last time I shot on the close 23R/05L was Sunday 8th May. ;)
Why would you be going to Canada? :(

Uh huh. Didn't you have someone last time we were shooting on April 17th??!
Definately give me a yell sometime.
I can make myself available on most nights and weekends, providing I don't have prior arrangements with nice girls. ;)
The week after V8s, I broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years. Partly to blame for being photographing at weekends. So I'm now left with my Canon as my sidekick, rather than a girl.
