Great location, awsome images. On your last image I see you used OCF from the left, care to comment on your set up? Was that bare flash or did you use a diffuser?

Hey there! Yes that is OCF to the left. I had my wife hold it and it's bare flash straight from a 580EX. :)

what PS action do you use for your BW conversion?

I usually begin with with one of the following and tweak as necessary...
Kubota Action Pack 1 - 70/20/10 OR 45/32/32

You're such a sweetheart Maureen! For sure though I will keep you in mind because there were a few cases this summer where I had some assistants bail at the last minute and I needed help! Thanks again!! :)

very photogenic couple all are killer shots. Just one question about the last picture. did you put the clouds in and what process did you do to the color? I really like that style.

Awesome shots!!! 7 is my fav. Just to be nit picky are you able to lower the exposure of the bricks between them in #6. ( like I said just a little picky )

Regarding the OCF in #8. Did you use AV mode with HSS ?

sctbiggs
14th of May 2010 (Fri), 20:27
they look great. I really wish in 1 they were positioned different. I just don't like them in the otherwise great photo. 2 and 7 are my favs. 7 could use a little leveling.

What I don't like (both just personal preferences) is the glow processing in 3 and the HDR-ish processing in 8. The sky looks like akward to me.
