I am headed to Wisconsin next week for a work conference (Brookfield area). I've never been there before. I'd like to take some pictures while I'm there. Can you recommend some places to go?

Becky,
Though you will not be allowed to take photographs inside, Frank Lloyd Wright's home Taliesen in Spring Green is a "must see". The structure is an architectural treasure and the tour includes a story about one of the world's greatest and most controversial architects.
I toured it last year at this time and would return.
Madison has 2 large lakes and great sailing scenes, too.
Post some pix!

Hi Becky, I live around this area and there are lot's of places to go. Brookfield is very close to Milwaukee, so that opens up lot's of possibilities. You can go downtown and take some nice architectual or urban shots. You can take some nice shots of lake michigan while visiting the Milwaukee Public Museum (this building is REALLY cool, and it juts out over the lake).
Madison is an awesome city to photograph too, visit State street and the UW campus, which is situated on an isthmus between two lakes. Have fun!
