That's some damn fine model building.
(BTW, if it were full-scale, I wouldn't want to fly in something that has a 10" gap between the spinner backplate and the front of the cowl yielding about 5 degrees down on the thrustline...) ;)

When I was into building models, that plane was my first kit. One of my favorites.

Sorry about that one...... The model was full scale... Its the Russell Group's 109E from Canada, shot at the Thunder over Michigan Airshow in 2008. They actually flew it to "support" German troops on the ground and it was up at the same time as a Hurricane. Its the only one in North America that FLIES with a real DB German engine in it. (Actually 1 of the 2 in the world with a DB engine in them). It's the REAL DEAL. Hence, the value is about priceless....
Not to jack your thread, but here are a few more shots........ Shame this wasn't on grass by its self.........

That's some damn fine model building. Agreed! I wish the trees were a bit OOF. Its the Russell Group's 109E from Canada, shot at the Thunder over Michigan Airshow in 2008. My favorite shot of it from that show:

understood about the trees this was just a demo for me to get familiar with the software/ The DOF is wrong with the trees being so sharp. Once I get a bit more familiar with the program they will look better. I wish I could get some background of WW2 era fields from GB and Germany! BTW Flugwerks in Germany is making new FW 190 and there was a company making replica me 262 as well. Thanks for the comments on the model fwiw it is a hasagawa 1/32 and the markings are all dry transfers or painted on no decals at all

BTW, that image isn't sRGB. Once I get a bit more familiar with the program they will look better. I've never used that program & this usually works for me on a hi-res file:

And yes, I missed the area under the cowling! :D
