Taken very early in the morning a few days a go. I was on my way to do some bird photography when I spotted these guys having a good ol' natter, couldn't resist capturing the moment.

Thanks for looking.

It's a great candid of modern life, indeed of any era.
Old men putting the world to rights, except with baseball caps.

Wonderful image, Paul

Wonderful image, PaulThank you!
I really like this image & I'm pleased with the way it turned out, the early morning sun really brings out the colour of the old granite sea wall.

Love it. I don't think you couldhave posed it any better. Excellent Capture! Have you thought of trying it in black and white? Would make it more timeless.

I really like this shot Paul. The horizontal lines are nice and straight!
But more over it seems like that's what I'll be like when I'm there age. Gives a good sense of being human.

pamI have tried converting it to B&W but didn't like it as much, thanks for the suggestion though.

I'm new at Photoshop and saw this as an opportunity to learn a few things. I hope you don't mind. I desaturated and played with unsharp mask. Pretty much my skills at this point. LOL

I think your right, color is better. Your photo makes me smile.Dawn, thanks for your thoughts on my fishermen shot. However you may want to take note of instruction number 8 listed on the following forum guidelines....

Would be really interesting to see it in BW. Looks like the perfect shot for monochrome.

I also prefer the color version. It better portrays the warmth of the fellowship being shared by these gentlemen.

Paul - again, I apologize for duplicating your photo without your permission. Again, I stated I took the opportunity to learn something regarding photoshop and assumed you wouldn't mind since somebody else was wondering the same as I, what would B/W look like?

Apparently, this did bother you as the suggestion was posted right after I deleted my version.

My bad for not asking and I hope you understand.

lets see the image in sephia colortone, that might make it more interestingI've been playing around with it and in my opinion nothing looks as good as the colour version, so that's what I'm sticking with :) Why would I want to change the beautiful colours only the early morning sun can provide?
