I read a lot on this forum about the difference between the 16.7 million colour lcd screens (8 bits) and the 16.2 millions colour ones (6 bits - and they don't actually have 16.2 million colours in reality).
I own a Compaq Presario 735ca (it's a notebook). My documentation says the screen is "14.1" TFT XGA Display", but it says nothing about the number of bits or colours. Is there a way I can find that out? Like a test or something?
