Fall Colors

Here is an image I took from Veterans Memorial Highway near Duluth, MN. It is comprised of 2 images, 3 exposures each.

This is my first attempt at this style and I think I went a little over the top. Does it work? Is it just oversaturated? Why doesnt it feel "right"?

I would say that it's not over-saturated. You definetly could bump the contrast. One of the cool features of HDR is what you can get out of the sky.

Very subdued contrast and saturation.
Has a calm, overcast sort of feeling.

Here is a different version with the saturation bumped and the contrast cranked up. I think I like this one better...
