Difficult conditions tonight for the riders... not least when two home riders tangled and ran each other off of the track...

They're quality mate, what lens you using? I'm looking to get in to sports photograhy. I'm guessing the 70-200 IS, but i checked your site out and a see you shoot football to so maybe something longer?

Those are all really fantastic photos.
Did those two fellows manage to get their luncheon date set? ;-)

Cheers Sean! These are all shot with a 300mm f/2.8. I generally shoot the first few heats from outside the air barrier just to get away from the usual inside of the bend shots... that position turned out to be handy for this crash!

When I work on the inside of the track, I'm generally using the 135mm f/2 or the 70-200 f/2.8.

Fantastic work as usual gmen! And what a mighty fine lens used to shoot em! :) Definately not an innexpensive profession.

Thanks RbrtPtikLeoSeny! Not inexpensive but immensely rewarding in more ways than one!

*lol* I somewhat doubt it... I'm just waiting to see if they've kissed and made up in time for the next meeting!
