thing that concerns me is the 1000x550 pixel image I have on the home page. Not sure how it's going to show on everyones screen.

Fine on mine too, but both my monitors have a width resolution larger than 1000. It could get slightly cut off for someone with a 1024x768 resolution.

Screensize is of little importance in this matter, and manufacturer even less so. What matters is resolution.

Sidescroll in 1024*768. Which gives you an automatic "Why the hell do they do this?!" *happiness towards page got - 15 points*.

You can set your screenresolution to different ones, so as to test. If you use the OS that deserves to die most of the widespread operatingsystems out there, then this (http://www.voidnish.com/articles/ShowArticle.aspx?code=windowsizer) is a tool that gives you more options. Equivalents for better operating systems (the others) probably exist, but I can't be bothered to go looking for them now.

I have to scroll right/left to see it all...1024 x 768. I personally would change it to fit at least a 1024 x 768 monitors.
