I want to add photos and drawings to a site but how can I add them so that people cant copy them directly without paying to download them? Iīd like to show online the full photo/drawing but so people canīt copy and paste them!! Does anyone know of a Free setup site where people can add photos and drawings and charge money for sharing their creations? thanks, Alistair Watts aliwatts@msn.com

Your request is not possible. If you want to display the full drawing, then when someone brings it up in their browser it is already been downloaded to their PC. You can watermark (splash your name or something across the image), or you can display it in a very small size, or display only a part of it, but fundamentally whatever you display can be taken.

I have to agree with Dave, it just isn't possible to keep people from taking your files if they want to. While there are sites which will prevent right click and save options there are several ways around this.

You can only protect your images to a point. You can use a webpage with right click disabled. Or if you know someone or can yourself, write the script to do it on your page. But the easiest way around it is to do a screen print.

If you design your own website as I do you can use a javascript code to disable right click which will prevent most people from getting your picture. However, anyone familar with writing HTML will easily be able to obtain your picture. The best protection is don't post it unless you accept that fact someone will get it! The second best option is low resolution sample and watermark the image. Keep in mind a watermark across the botton of a picture can be cropped out quite easily also.
