Got home to late to do much with the birds--shot this iris with the 100-400L 135mm 1/160 f/7.1 ISO 800

My first flower !:)
I have no idea how to crop it for best effect.

I like it, the background is distracting though.

I wouldn't crop it but I'd try to blur out the background :)

Thanks for your input--Yes, I agree with blurring the background. I'll give it a shot and post it when I get it finished.

Thank you, but I have no idea what kind of iris it is. :rolleyes: I have a beautiful yard--but
I bought the property with the landscaping in.
I'm embarrassed to say it was the only one that came up :o but it's a real winner!!!
