Is that the real colour of her eyes? Absolutely amazing if they are!

What a cutie. I love the angle of her head. And of course the eyes are stunning.

Taken at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. She was dressed to be an Elf Princess. Increased saturation because her makeup made her look very gaunt and unappealing. Eye color is slightly affected by this, but she looked very similar to what you see above. She was very photogenic...unfortunately, I could only get one picture of her. Thanks for the comments.

No problem, critiques are always welcome.
Yes, the picture is a bit soft on the hair since it was windy. Remember, this was shot handheld in poor light at 1/200 at f/10 at a 35 zoom equivalent of 260 mm. At that focal length, it is difficult to handhold anything below 1/300 - 1/400 sec. I was surprised to get a picture even this good with the conditions I was facing, but I've practiced a lot and I was lucky. The main reason I was only able to get one shot of her was because I had little time and I had to basically control my breath and carefully take the shot to minimize shake.

You may be right. I didn't ask. She had a thing in her hair that she removed when I asked her to pose for me. There were a lot of kids that day dressed up in Lord of the Rings fashion, and I think this girl was with one of the larger groups there.
Here is a real Elf Princess picture to compare and contrast. You really don't need much to be an elf...just the ears. Unfortunately, she left her sharp ears at home.

Great shot. Beutiful girl.
But, it's the eyes that make this shot snap.

Hate to rain on parade, but I think the eye color might be from contact lenses. If you enlarge the eyes, especially the right, you can see that the pale green is in an even circle half the diameter of the iris, and has a crisp edge. Outside that pale green they eye color is a more ordinary (but still nice) grayish-blue.
I've seen red contacts, contacts made to look like cat's eyes, and contacts with images of flames in them, even contacts made to look like Darth Maul.

Quite possibly correct. I expressed those same thoughts on the original posting of this photo on photo.net:

STILL doesn't detract from the fact that it's a very nice photo. ;)
Just for the record, I STILL think She's a "PIXIE", as opposed to an "Elf",
