Late afternoon shot....still trying to learn HDR and not sure which of these is the best .. or why

those two trees look like twins. I do prefer the first one tho, the sunset colors look nice, maybe a tish more of black tho?

second one looks very natural looking

I like number 2 because it is more natural. I'd apply a little curves adj to it for better contrast/pop.

Yes.. Magnificent twin trees. Great shade for early summer afternoons.

Thanks for the comments. I liked both, but didn't know which would appeal to others... I will try the adjustment you suggest and see how they come out.

Great idea to blend them together. I'd probably go closer to 50/50 and hit it with a contrast adjustment layer.
