Here are two versions of a photo I took while playing around this afternoon. One is the color version and the other converted to B&W with some contrast and brightness adjustments. I think I prefer the B&W. I have another version of the B&W without as much contrast, mostly. I cropped some trees out of the original as well. The sun is directly behind the lamp.

I like the black and white version where the sky pops up.
The main subject is no very attracting though, I mean it
does not suggest something right away , but after thinking
a little , may be :)

Thanks for the comments. I like the B&W as well and the darker the sky, the better, I think. I thought I had cropped it so that the lamp was at the top 3rd of the image, but I guess it is deceptively close to center.... The sun right behind the lamp really made the picture glow. Now I'm on the lookout for even older looking lamps....
