My dog (the German Shep) had a ball playing with this Labradoodle. How did I do capturing the action and the mood?

I think you did a good job capturing the playful spirit of the dog park.

I have some dog park pictures on my web site - BarkParkPics.com .

The certainly are full of drool aren't they. I think they're great shots, but the white balance looks just a little warm on my monitor. Looks like a great time was had by all. And kinda makes me want a labradoodle. It's just a fun word to say. And it's hard to be afraid of a breed called Labradoodle. (It's a labrador and poodle mix for those of you who have never had the pleasure of meeting one).

I don't know... I heard Mike Vick loves the Labradoodle because of their fierce fighting curls. ;)

Good point about the WB. Now that I have Lightroom I should run these shots through it. Even with JPEGS it does an amazing job of fixing WB. Thanks for pointing that out.

It helped - see below

Yup. They look pink on my monitor here at work too. But they looked great at home last night. Sigh.

I really like the play value between the subjects. I think you did a great job capturing the charm and playfulness and check out those monster tongues! Color casts can be tricky to balance. The problem is that the fur color and backdrop are very similar in color.

One approach is to isolate the dogs (masked) and correct their color independently. Invert the mask and correct the background if necessary. May I ask what camera and lens you took these with?

I know the camera was my T1i, and I believe the lens was the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8.
