My first attempt at a Nighttime San Diego Cityscape shot [Archive]

Here is my first attempt at shooting a cityscape. I shot this in San Diego at Coronado Island. Probably the best place to take a shot of the city. I used my Canon 40D and hope to take some earlier shots right before sunset.

It's a pretty nice shot, although slightly small to be able to give you too much creative feedback. The one thing I notice is that there appears to be some distortion in it where the shoreline arcs up a bit.

I would suggest less of the ocean in the foreground, it takes away from the cityscape.

I would agree except for the lights...it definitely adds something.
