What volume of photos do you take per month? I seem to average 4-5GB per month so far this year, with a big spike the month I did the wedding - that month was 10GB. I shoot RAW, and I don't delete much - just the obviously bad shots.

I average about 100 shots per week though I may shoot that in just one day if there is a birthday or holiday.

Sure well above 10 GB/Month. Bit I shoot raw and I keep everything as an archive. Of course, I have a separate archive for the keepers. That is MUCH smaller :(

Try over 3000 RAW+M2 jpeg per month average from 1DsMkII. That is over 40GB per month. Which is about right as I have filled up one 250GB drive since January.

During the summer months I shoot a lot more than winter as I photograph my daughter's soccer and softball teams. For a typical game, I'll fill about 1.5 GB which equates to about 8GB/month. In the winter it is not nearly that much.

I shoot a lot, but i don't keep everything. It depends on the month, it depends on what I'm shooting.... sometimes I shoot over 4GB in one day.

It depends a lot of different things like weather and time.
April I shot 18 GB. May I shot around 6 GB. But in march I probably shot less than 1 GB.

This is my second month with my camera. I've shot close to 5gb so far this month. Most of that from a bike race I shot last weekend.

It depends on what's going on at my school. I take all the photos for our yearbook, and the number of pictures is determined by the type and amount of activities scheduled for the week. At baccalaureate and graduation last week I took around 700 photos. During basketball season, I'll easily double that each week.

I shoot a ton and keep everything with the hope that I will delete them later on. But I never feel like doing it after, that means I have to look through every picture, pick out the bad ones, delete it. phew makin me tired already :)

It varies. Sometimes I can go through 20Gb or more in a week, sometimes I'll go almost a full month without taking any pictures. I'd say I probably average around 4-8Gb/month.

Depends, When I am in school, I rarely use my SLR and am working with the digital back, RAW files are about 30mb each. Depending on course load and work from people outside of school, especially if it is a big client for the school ie Ford, Evian etc etc. I have taken 10GB in a single day at the studio if its a very long shoot. I cover about 2, maybe 3 of those a month. I would say about 50GB+ a month combined during the wall/winter, because I also shoot winter sports for a sports memorabilia company. I pretty much dump the images I don't want/use.....
During the summer that goes down, I will follow racing events around the province, also will keep sharp and do some street photography. I will also get some more work for shooting press stuff at sports events here and there. But I mostly use my 1DMKII or I will shoot film(100-150 med/large format prints maybe). Again another 20-30gb + prints.
Cheers.
