Took this today as I was out finding things to shoot and learn. Tell me if this one works also.

I like it - I think it works well with the simple black framing - maybe a polariser for the blue sky??

I like the contrast of the blue sky and the green, very nice. However, sometime is bothering me - my eyes cannot settle in one place. I am going back and forth between left and right. It might be just me. Thanks for sharing.

I like this one, course I love barns and such :) Composition is good, my only comment is that it seems a little dark, could be my moniter.

Yes, but for me that is what makes it interesting - proves you can break the rule of thirds and still get a good image. Some closer shots of the huts/barns would be good idea? As part of a series?

I'm inclined to agree with Leorooster, my eyes can't settle in one place either. Having said that, there's something pleasing about it too

The natural elements are appealing. I would probably take an angle that has one barn closer and only one barn clearly in focus.

Thanks everyone for the nice comment and on how to go about fixing this picture. I get alot of good ideas from everyone here and I appreciate that alot.
Also, is the picture dark to evryone? Not to me on my monitor...I just want to make sure I am seeing right and not getting it dark when I am seeing it as bright.

I would like it better if only the barn on the right were shown, and perhaps from a closer perspective. That should allow the eye to focus on a single subject.

Again I want to say thanks everyone for your feedback on the picture. Appreciate the help much and will try to keep all these things in my memory of what to and what not to do. I shot this one with the 85 1.8 lens on private property and couldn't get any closer so I took the best angle I could on this one.

Hi Dooglla,
I like the picture in general. Perhaps you can try the sephia effect and add a little grain.

Thanks photopig...to me I didn't think it appealed that much...shows you how much I know.

I have to agree, this one seems to capture my interests much more. I still feel it is just a tad on the dark side, but the B&W works much better. :)

I hope you don't mind. I lightened it a little and added just a touch of sepia toning. If you want I'll take it off.

Hey stoneylonesome...don't mind it a bit. Looks really nice the way you did it. And lightening it up a little looks much better. Thanks. Keep it like this I say. :)
