Since I only ever used colour film and now have a digital SLR i decided giving B&W a try. Any comments or advice is more than welcome.

When i first looked at this photo my impresion was, no not keen on it, but on looking at it again and the small thumb nail, the second post was to big to view prop i think it is quite effective as the wood snake leads your eye into the slanting horizon, and this makes you think again why have you made it so ???, anways on second view very artistic :-)

I see your point actually, looking at it full size on a small screen puts a lot of emphasis on things within the frame as apose to the composition, perhaps I'll resize them next time. Thanks for the comments :)

An image in the vicinity of 400x600 pixels would be great.
