Work Boats - Rock Harbor

I find this a tad cluttered.

To my eye, "the shot" is in much closer to the "Ruth & Gail" without so much foreground, empty sky and the much more modern boat in the background at camera left.

Looks like a location that's worth working for more ideas though.

Worth a return trip at a better time of day...Loose some of the forground.

I'm a sucker for working boats...They make good subjects IMHO

I Did a stint as a header on a Texas shrimp boat and a few years as a Ship Chandler....not much use for either of those profession's in Minnesota!!!

But boat's continue to be a love affair of mine.....Not those fancy smancy pleasure craft either, there nice but not my thing.

You and I are like a couple of fish out of water. I am originally from Cape Cod and have been around fishing boats my whole life. If I could only shoot one subject, that would be it. Dave

I like it here...I grew up here, But that is the one thing I miss from my years on the coast.

If there was a (insert somthing appealing to you here) on one side of the road and a harbour with old rusty boats on the other......Well you understand!
