I have been enjoying this forum for some time and have learned so much.

It's taken me a while to build up the courage to share my photo's but I really enjoyed taking some shots this past weekend and thought it was time. Let me know what you think.

I would appreciate some constructive feedback.

as snapshots go, very nice. but for more pro shots, think about how you are lighting their face - you have shadows across them as you are shooting into the sun - maybe use a reflector (nothing fancy - a bit of white paper would do the job) so it shows up the faces.

How's good old richmond hill anyway (used to live near major mac and yonge)?

Oh and btw, cute kids ;)

I think they are better than snapshots. You did a good job.

Move them to a place where there is no direct sun falling on them. That will make a big difference.

Thanks for the comments. Mid-day sun is a huge challenge, especially when the kids aren't following "instructions". I really like taking the candid shots so I suspect some fill flash would do the trick, or at least help.

Saqib - Richmond Hill is great this time of year. Fall colors are awesome. Lots of yardwork though.
