Rose and Hoopoe: First Post!!!

:D The pics below is of a garden rose and an African Hoopoe, taken on a Canon EOS 300 Film.

Fuji 200 ASA Pro Lens "Kit" 70-300 4 - 5.6 with skylight filter.
Pics were developed at a lab and scanned by me on an HP 2400 Desktop scanner and resized. No filters or anything have been applied.

The first one is a nice shot except that it's cropped a bit too tight for me & I'd like to see the background more out of focus. Unlike the 2nd one that needs to have the bird in focus. ;-)
