When I turn on my camera, the LCD either starts up with ~25% intensity and quickly fades to black or it'll flicker at around 25% intensity. Other times, it just refuses to turn on (or it's at like 1% intensity and I can barely tell).
I'm hoping it's not like the backlight or something, but I've tried different batteries and cleaned the battery contacts so it doesn't seem like that's an issue.
Edit: Found my purchase date (June 13, 2004). The camera has a one year warranty... I gotta get this fixed ASAP if I have to go through Canon. :eek:
