Good Morning!
I will be visiting Omaha Nov 16th-19th, and I hope to do quite a bit of photography while there. What areas would anyone recommend for photography there? I enjoy wildlife, zoos, landscape and I am learning street photography. Thank you in advance for any suggestions or ideas!

A quick Google search for "wildlife, omaha" turns up a zoo and a place called "Wildlife Safari" that you drive through. That brought back the memory of going there in 1979. Maybe your memory of it will be better.

The Henry Doorley Zoo is on the East Side of Town by Rosenblatt Stadium where the college world series is played.
I think there are a bunch of state parks up and down the west bank of the Missouri River. Maybe this link will help you: NE Game & Parks (http://www.ngpc.state.ne.us/parks/parks.asp)
You can ask on this message board. Its full of guys from Omaha/Eastern NE. You'll probably get more helpful advice than you can use. NFGA Forum (http://www.nefga.org/forum/nebraska-fishing-forum/)
It will be the middle of rifle deer season, so you might want to check out parks where no hunting is allowed.
Google Fontanelle Forrest also. That might be good place to excercise your cameras.

THanks for the ideas! I really appreciate it :)
I look forwaard to seeing what I can find - as long as it isn't one of those deer hunters!

the Omaha ZOO is great... you can spend alot of time there...even in the cold weather there is alot of indoor places... if you can spend a day there, it will not be hard to do.....
if you like air and space the sac museum is another great place....not that far from omaha...

the omaha zoo safari is really close to the sac museum, but because of weather you may want to look in it before going there.. also not sure if it is open that late in the year....
Fontenelle Forest is another great place, but again with the weather and time of year not really sure what you will find...
