Hi,
I was thinking of entering this in a contest that has a nature category. One is the full shot and one is a tight crop. Please let me know what you think. I have to get it ready this evening to enter tomorrow. Thanks

I prefer the full shot, although the light speck above is drawing my eye in both shots.

IMO the first shot but..If you can play with the photo, why don't you keep the focus on just the butterfly, or the butterfly and supporting flower, and blur out the rest.

Thanks for the input. Here is an in between. I also darkened the light spot which happens to be the antennae.
Let me know what you think.

I like the full shot and the inbetween. That spot still bothers me, but if it is part of the butterfly, it is part of the butterfly! They are very nice photos and I wish you well in the contest.

thanks :) I didn't know the antennae would sparkle like that in the son. It was so very bright that day and my lantana are in full sun. There were 6 butterflys on them. This is my favoirte shot, though.
