I know I need a flash or two. Here's a picture I took a few days ago as the sun was going down. I think my best bet is to set one flash just outside the frame on the left and the right. What should I buy? I was thinking the 550EX/420EX/ST-E2 but I see a lot of professional skateboard photographers use the Sunpak 555s. They're all shooting with Nikon though.

The main light is coming from the right so I would use the flash from the right as well. The sunlight is going to be much warmer than flash so I would use a strong warming gel to balance the color, maybe a Rosco Half 85.
