This is the third time that I will have asked this question, and as I don't care to be a pest, it will be my last. Hopefully, someone will reply. Can anyone tell me if there is a problem running LS D60 in batch mode(PS7), or is it something I am doing wrong. I would really like to know, as this is a great action but slow. Would be nice to run it unattended.

Thanks,
JC

I have not encountered any problems running LS D60 in batch mode in Photoshop 7.1, letting it work through up to 100 image files in one session (around 4 hours!).

What problem are you having?

No problem running the action in batch mode.
Do the following:
1. Load action into Photoshop
2. Select (one mouse click) the action you want to run in the actions pallette.
3. Select: File/Automate/Batch.
4. The selected action should show on the top of the Batch dialog box.
5. Choose the source folder where your linear tiff files are located.
6. Choose the destination folder where you want your converted tiff files stored.
7. Make any desirable changes to output file names in the File Naming box.
8. Click OK on the top right hand side of the dialog box.
9. Go have dinner...

Hope this helps.
Persio.

9. Go have dinner...
...or, if you are leaving Photoshop working through 500 or more photos, go for a short weekend vacation!

Morden,

Persio,

Thanks for answering. It appears that my mistake was in not using a "folder" as my source. I had tried it with the option of "open" selected, with multiple photos opened, and it couldn't get through it.

Thanks again,

JC
