Here's a blast from the past. Everclear was pretty huge in the 90's. Brought me back to my childhood listening to them. It is a whole new band save the lead singer. They sounded great, especially the guitarist. No pit at this show, so most of these were from the crowd, or standing on a chair. The lighting was pretty harsh, and very red most of the night, so I ended up with a lot of B+W shots here -- I find that tends to look better than attempting to fix the color. I am wondering if the 7D handles red casts better, my 40D seems to have a very hard time with focus speed and accuracy, as well as color/white balance in red light.

as well as color/white balance in red light
What raw converter?

On the images: All pretty good technically (except #7)

I like #8 least of all.

The others are okay, if maybe a bit "standard", but some might be framed / cropped better.

I like #1, 2 and mainly 4.

OK, Agreed... I would use "levels" and adjust the sliders some... Or even test out "shadows/highlights" and adjust same.

There was not much light at this show, Already played with the levels, curves, and bumped the exposure, couldn't get it up much more than that without the noise being very obvious/distracting. I didn't touch the shadows/highlights sliders though, I may go back and play with them. I agree, they do look a little dark. Thanks for the replies.
