Hey All,

I'm slated to go on a 2wk business trip to Hyderabad, India.

Has anyone been before??

Gear Wise...I'm thinking my 10-22mm & 50mm & 70-200mm, or maybe just my 24-70mm & 10-22mm to go pack light.

I would appreciate any input and/or suggestions!

TIA

I say pack light, I've never been but I have friends who have been for months and they report only using one lens rather than the whole bag for most of the trip...for me I'd guess using a wide (or ultra wide) would be the best idea (24-70)

Just picked up a Tarmac - Adventure 4 bag to pack...anyone think i need a long lense (70-200mm?)

Its shaping up to be - 40d (no grip), 10-22mm, 24-70mm and maybe 85mm?

I was in Hyderabad a couple of years ago. I'd say 24-70mm & 10-22mm would be more than sufficient, unless you're planning specific shooting using the 70-200mm. I was in Hyderabad a couple of years ago.

A friend on mine was just there on a six week assignment for his company... He said that outside of his hotel "compound," it was pretty slummy and difficult to get around, FYI.

Just arrived to my hotel...local time is 7am Tuesday 11/03

I'm here on business so i've been assigned a driver/car...cuz lord knows i wouldnt wanna drive here, these guys are insane!!

Looks like my 24-70mm will be getting a work out, also brought my 10-22, 85mm and 50mm made it at the last second.

I'll be sure to post up some pics when i get a chance to explore...if anyone has got suggestions on some "need to see" sites, they'd be greatly appreciated!

thanks again for all the help & comments!!
