6 = nice when you get to work with people who look like fashion models, eh?
8 = so simple if you describe the shot but it is perfect

Thanks... I think? :p
But I don't undestand what you mean by "8 = so simple if you describe the shot but it is perfect"... I'm rather slow at times, so feel free to elaborate :D

p.s. I have a feeling that immediately after I post this, I'll reread your post and "EUREKA!" -- I'll get it :p

Did I see these at OSP?
These are totally off da chain man.
I think: Describing the shot- "Silhouette of couple embracing in the sunset" - Doesn't sound like much. But the shot really works. Not to mention the nice gradient from black to blue to sunset orange. Nice.

Heh, sorry, I was watching my son at the same time so I was typing in shorthand.
To me, #8 is perfect... but if you described it to someone " a couple hugging in front of a sunset" it would seem too simple but the way it was executed you made it a spectacular shot.

Ah!!! Wow. Rereading it, it's obvious... I told you I'm slow :p
Thanks!

Your work always shines, Bobby... but #6 in this set really, for me, stands apart......I LOVE IT.
I really "feel" this shot...which is what photography is about. Always a fan of your processing....really rocks this shot

Bobby, I've been looking at your stuff lately and am seriously falling in love with all the grain! It's really working for me; even though I used to HATE the slightest hint of grain. ;)

Another question for you... I know you love your 50L... what lens do you use for your ceremony shots and how close/far away do you typically (or can you typically) get?

I would say that the focus in the first 3 images if off. But maybe it is just my eyesight.
Image #7 (the kiss on the forehead) is
KILLER.
Well done.
#5 is also outstanding.

Great set! Definitely gave that 50/1.2 a work out, fantastic use of shallow DOF.
